Good News for us: We have made the decision to take a break from raising horses. All of our horses (Foals, Mares and Stallions) have been sold. We have some gentle riding horses for the grandkids to ride. -------The horse business has been good to us, but we feel it is time to have more family time. We have made many good friends. Some very sad news. DEFINITLY A DUNIT (Biscuit), who we purchased from Tim McQuay in 1998 as a yearling, has died as a result of Colic. He had surgery on Monday Eve (Feb 2,2009) and did not make it through. He was a very special horse and he had found a great home in Colorado with a new owner since Sep of 2006. His current owner did everything possible to help him recover and our hearts go out to Shari and Marge in Colorado.



Our good mare MISSIN ROYAL (by ROYAL CHIC OLENA) produced a very nice Palomino Stud Colt on Wed (4/9/08). ROYAL CHIC OLENA is a NRHA Money Earning and AQHA Point Earning Own Son of SMART CHIC OLENA. --------This new 2008 Palomino Colt is sired by NRHA Money Earner and AQHA Point Earner DEFINITLY A DUNIT (by HOLLYWOOD DUN IT).

Also on Wed (4/9/08) KATES SMART DOC (by CATALENA BOY) had an outstanding Dun Stud Colt. The mare's sire CATALENA BOY(who is a NCHA Money Earner) is an own son of DOC O'LENA. ---------This 2008 Dun Colt is also sired by the NRHA Money Earning and AQHA Point Earning stallion DEFINITLY A DUNIT (by HOLLYWOOD DUN IT). ---- SOLD

Our first foal sired by PEPTO DUAL SMART arrived on 4/25/08. This special Red Roan Colt is out of an own daughter of CD OLENA. Guaranteed 100% sound and healthy.

Of all the horses competing for the year 2007 in the Mile High Buckskin Assoc, DEFINITLY A DUNIT was the HIGH POINT OPEN CHAMPION ! Congratulation to Marge Brubaker and Shari Jaster !

POCO DOT DUNIT(by DEFINITLY A DUNIT) was raised by Loy and Cindy Henderson. POCO DOT DUNIT won 1st place in the Ranch Horse Competition at Precott Valley, Arizona on Jan 25, 2008. Way To Go !!

DUN FADED MY GENES (by DEFINITLY A DUNIT)won 8th place in the AQHA World Show on 11/16/07 in Jr Tie Down Roping and won $2,159.60 ! Recently on Jan 19,2008 he won 2nd place in the Tie Down Roping at the AQHA Show in Ericson, Ne.---He has now earned his OPEN PERFORMANCE REGISTER OF MERIT. He is also the 2006 WFQHA World Champion in Jr Working Ranch Horse Class and was awarded the 2006 WFQHA Jr Open All Around World Championship. He is owned by Gail Berndt and Shannon Lord. Congratulations !

BAR DIAMOND DUNIT (by DEFINITLY A DUNIT) has began the year 2008 by becoming a NCHA Money earner in January. Keep on going !

CLASSY DIAMOND DUNIT (by DEFINITLY A DUNIT) has won AQHA Reining Pts and NRHA money. Way to go Karen Capps!

CODY BILL DUNIT (by DEFINITLY A DUNIT) has just won his AQHA OPEN PERFORMANCE REGISTER OF MERIT !! He has won most of his points in Heeling and Tie Down Roping. Congratulations Jon & Carol Kerns !


The RANCH HORSE OF ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA (RHAA) just had their National Finals in Abilene, Tx on May 12, 2007. SANDHILL DUNIT (by DEFINITLY A DUNIT) was the NATIONAL JR CHAMPION with Tripp Townsend aboard !

The Palomino Mare DUN WENT GOLD (By DEFINITLY A DUNIT) has been showing in NRHA Reining classes recently. She has already begun winning NRHA money now. Congratulations !

CIERRA DUNIT (By DEFINITLY A DUNIT) has won $557 in the National Reined Cow Horse Association. Way to go !

DUN IT OK (by DEFINITLY A DUNIT) has won 21 AMERICAN BUCKSKIN REGISTRY ASSOCIATION Points. Congratulations !
